Incineration solids
Incineration Solids are solid waste materials—such as contaminated debris, sludges, filters, or other non-recyclable byproducts—that are safely destroyed through high-temperature incineration. Recycling companies manage these solids to ensure the complete elimination of hazardous components, reduce landfill dependency, and protect the environment from potential contamination.
The following coditions apply to all INC prefix waste unless noted otherwise. No asbestos, mercury <10ppm, cyanides<500ppm, sulfides<500ppm, reactives or large pieces of metal or concrete. Halogens less than 5%.
| IS01A | Soils and sludges for consolidation and incineration. | Must be compatible with nearly everything and not require shredding. Free liquids ok |
| IS01B | Light solids for consolidation and incineration | Rags, pads, plastic, floor dry, vermiculite, wood, no monoliths. Max weight 250 lbs/55G including the drum. No liquids |
| IS01C | Pesticide solids and sludge | >1in solids, must not react with water or solvents. pH 4-12-5. Liquids ok |
| IS01D | F027 Solids and sludge | >1in solids, must not react with water or solvents. pH 4-12-5. Liquids ok |
| IS01E | Acidic solids with organics | Solids, pH<4 (when water added), liquids ok |
| IS01F | Basic solids with organics | Solids, pH>12.5 (when water added), liquids ok |
| IS02 | Monolithic solids | Must be shreddable. No large ieces of metal. No larger than 85G drum |
