Treatment bases

and neutral pH

Treatment of Bases and Neutral pH is a service in which recycling companies safely manage alkaline and neutral industrial wastes. The process involves neutralizing, stabilizing, and properly disposing of these materials in compliance with environmental regulations, minimizing hazards, and protecting soil and water from contamination.

The following coditions apply to all TB prefix waste unless noted otherwise. No explosives, radioactives, PCB's, asbestos, mercury, cyanides, sulfides, reactives, controlled substances, oils, organic UHC's or F027. No foul odors (mercaptans etc.)

TB01 Uncontaminated base treatment all concentrations. liquids NAOH, KOH, CaOH, NaHCO3 and Na2CO3 only. <1in solids, no contaminants
TB02 Solid pourable bases to be used as reagent. NaOH, KOH, NaHCO3 and Na2CO3. Will take with no state codes for reuse Must be pourable. No monolithic solids, no contaminants of any kind
TB03 Base treatment with heavy metals or other contaminants No ammonia, no bleach, <1% solids, mercury <10ppm
TB04 Base treatment of ammonia No bleach, <1% solids
TB05 Base treatment of bleach No ammonia, <1% solids
TB06 Hazardous waste water meeting treatment standard <1in solids
TB07 Neutral waters without metals <1in solids, no D004-D011
TB08 Neutral waters with metals >1in solids, <100 ppm hex chrome
TB09 Oily waters <1in solids, no EPA codes
TB10 Oily waters with solids >1in solids, no EPA codes
TB11 Waters for solar evaporation <1% TSS/TDS, no EPA codes requiring treatment, pH 5-11- bulk only
